Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance for San Francisco on September 14 points to a high in the low-to-mid 70s under onshore flow and a strengthening marine layer, supporting the market’s heavy weighting toward 72–75°F outcomes. Persistent northwest winds and typical September cooling after early-month heat have kept temperatures near the 70.8°F climatological average, with limited warming expected before peak afternoon readings. Minor model spread on cloud cover and exact wind timing creates modest uncertainty between the 72–73°F and 76–77°F bins, while probabilities for extremes remain low given the absence of offshore flow or ridging. Updated NWS and NOAA model runs overnight will provide the final data ahead of resolution.
