Latest National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance for Denver on September 14 point to a daytime high in the mid- to upper-80s under mostly cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms possible, creating the tight clustering between the 86-89°F bins that dominate market odds. Regional moisture advection and variable wind patterns introduce modest uncertainty in peak temperature timing, while climatological September averages near 80°F provide baseline context. Traders appear to weigh the risk of brief clearing or stronger convection that could nudge readings toward 88-91°F against the more probable capped maximum. Updated model runs and official NWS briefings ahead of the event will likely refine these probabilities further.
