Forecasts from Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration and multiple models indicate a daily high of 28–30°C for Taipei on September 9, driven by strengthening northeasterly monsoon winds that advect cooler, moister maritime air and increase cloud cover with a 40–60% chance of scattered showers. This pattern typically caps daytime heating compared with recent days near 30–32°C. Historical September maxima average around 30–31°C, but the current setup favors values near the lower end of the typical range. Model consensus shows limited afternoon clearing potential, keeping the market-implied odds centered on 30–32°C while assigning lower probability to extremes above 33°C or below 28°C. Updated model runs and official briefings tomorrow morning will refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.
