Recent National Weather Service forecasts and supporting model runs indicate a high near 99–100°F for Dallas on September 10 under persistent southerly flow, mostly sunny skies, and light winds that limit mixing. This aligns with the market’s leading 98–99°F (35%) and 100–101°F (19.5%) bins, as the region remains under a strong ridge with dew points supporting heat indices above 105°F. Recent days of 100–102°F highs have established a warm baseline, while climatological averages near 91°F underscore the anomaly. Minor model spread and any late-day cloud or storm development introduce the main uncertainty, with next NWS updates and afternoon observations likely to refine the exact maximum before resolution.
