Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus point to an overnight low of 71–73°F in Atlanta on September 18, driven by a warm, humid air mass with daytime highs near 92–96°F, dew points in the upper 60s, and light northwest winds under partly cloudy skies. These conditions limit radiative cooling after sunset, keeping minimum temperatures well above the late-September climatological average of 65°F. Trader-implied odds favoring 72–73°F reflect this stable pattern, with only modest uncertainty from variable cloud cover or slight model spreads in boundary-layer mixing. No significant frontal passages or drier air intrusions are expected before resolution, supporting the current market positioning.
