Recent forecast models from the National Weather Service and private sources indicate a Friday night low in Los Angeles near 62–65°F under clear skies and light southwest winds, consistent with typical early-fall marine layer moderation along the coast. This consensus underpins the tight market clustering around 64–65°F and 66–67°F, as traders weigh subtle differences in radiative cooling rates versus residual onshore flow. Historical September lows at Los Angeles International Airport average near 63°F, providing a baseline that aligns with current guidance and limits extreme downside risk below 60°F. Updated model runs and any overnight marine layer strengthening will be the next key data points before resolution.
