Recent forecast models from agencies including the Met Office and regional meteorological services point to a daily high of 18–20°C in São Paulo on September 16, driven by a cool, stable air mass with southeasterly flow, extensive low- to mid-level cloud cover, and light showers that limit daytime heating. These conditions align with early-spring climatology for the city, where September averages near 23°C but recent observations show 2–4°C cooler readings amid higher humidity and reduced insolation. Market-implied odds favoring 19–21°C reflect trader consensus on these stable synoptic patterns, with limited upside risk from clearing skies or stronger northerly advection before sunset. Updated model runs and official temperature reports will determine final resolution.
