Forecast models from the National Weather Service and private sources project a high near 100°F for Dallas on September 15 under sunny skies, light south winds, and dry conditions, with heat indices potentially reaching 105°F. This consensus supports the market's strong weighting toward the 100-101°F bin, as recent model runs show minimal deviation and align with late-summer patterns featuring persistent high pressure. Historical data indicate that 100°F or higher has occurred on this date, though the all-time record stands at 101°F. Traders appear to discount cooler or hotter outliers given the stable atmospheric setup and lack of incoming fronts, with any final adjustments likely tied to the next National Weather Service update.
