Current forecast consensus from Taiwan's Central Weather Administration and global models points to a daily maximum of 30–32°C in Taipei on September 14, driven by easterly flow, moderate humidity, and scattered showers that could cap afternoon heating. Recent observations show daytime peaks near 31–33°C under partly cloudy skies, while climatological baselines for mid-September average around 31°C. Model spread and timing of any rain bands create the tight market clustering around 32°C and 33°C, with lower probabilities for 34°C+ reflecting limited intensification potential absent stronger subsidence. Updated CWA guidance and high-resolution runs over the next 48 hours will refine the exact peak before resolution.
