Current National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble models indicate overnight lows in the mid-60s Fahrenheit for Los Angeles on September 16, driven by a persistent marine layer, light onshore flow, and clear evening skies that limit radiative cooling. This consensus supports the market's leading 68-69°F bin at 47.5% implied probability, with 66-67°F close behind, aligning with the climatological average low of 63.7°F and recent September observations. The notable 28% probability assigned to 57°F or below reflects residual uncertainty from potential stronger marine influence or model spread, though official guidance shows limited support for such an outlier cool outcome. Updated short-range model runs and the evening forecast briefing remain the key near-term catalysts.
