Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus for Denver International Airport indicate a daytime high near 82°F under mostly sunny skies, with light northerly winds shifting easterly and limited afternoon cloud build-up or isolated thunderstorm chances. This aligns closely with the September 9 climatological normal of 81.5°F while following several days of above-average readings in the upper 80s to low 90s. Trader positioning around 82–83°F reflects the narrow range of official guidance and observational data, tempered by typical model spread in boundary-layer mixing and any late-day convection that could trim peak temperatures by a degree or two.
