Trader consensus around 66–69°F for the September 16 Los Angeles low reflects observed overnight conditions shaped by a strengthening marine layer, light onshore flow, and partial cloud cover that limited radiative cooling. Downtown and coastal stations recorded minimums near 65–68°F amid typical early-fall humidity and dew points in the mid-50s, with models showing only modest spread due to variable fog timing. Historical September averages near 64°F provide context, but the absence of strong offshore winds or clear skies prevented deeper drops below 60°F, keeping lower-probability bins like 57°F or below as longshots while sustaining tight odds between the 66–67°F and 68–69°F ranges pending final NWS verification.
