Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Los Angeles on September 20 indicate overnight lows in the mid-60s Fahrenheit, driven by a persistent marine layer and typical late-summer coastal cooling patterns that limit radiative heat loss. Model consensus from sources like the GFS supports minimum temperatures around 64–68°F, with light winds and increasing cloud cover overnight contributing to this range rather than sharper drops. These conditions align closely with the market-implied odds, where 66–69°F holds the highest probabilities at 39.5% and 28.5%, reflecting trader assessment of official guidance and historical September baselines near 63°F. Updated model runs or marine layer observations could refine the exact low before resolution.
