This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Singapore Changi Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 9 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=wsss If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Trader consensus heavily favors 28°C as the lowest temperature in Singapore on September 9, 2026 (77.5% implied probability), with 27°C a distant second at 19%.** This positioning reflects persistent warm-night conditions under the prevailing southwest monsoon, which has brought dry, occasionally windy weather and suppressed typical nocturnal cooling. Official guidance from Singapore’s Meteorological Service highlights minimum temperatures remaining above 27°C on most nights through the first fortnight of September, consistent with recent observations of overnight lows around 27–28°C (81–82°F). Historical September averages show daily minima near 25°C, but current atmospheric patterns—southeast to southwest winds, elevated dew points, and limited cloud cover for radiative cooling—have kept readings elevated. Forecast model consensus and station data through early September align with this warmer baseline, reducing the likelihood of a drop to 26°C or below. Key upcoming data points include updated NEA briefings and hourly observations from Changi and other stations, which will confirm whether any late-evening or pre-dawn cooling pushes the daily low lower than expected. The strong market weighting on 28°C captures this evidence-based expectation of continued above-average minima.
