Recent National Weather Service and model consensus point to clear skies and light northerly flow over New York City on September 14–15, allowing strong radiational cooling after a frontal passage and showers earlier in the week. This setup favors an overnight low in the upper 50s to low 60s, with ensemble guidance showing modest spread around 58–61 °F depending on exact wind speeds, dew points, and boundary-layer mixing. The closely matched market probabilities between the 58–59 °F and 60–61 °F bins reflect this forecast uncertainty, as small changes in timing or cloud cover could shift the minimum by a degree or two before resolution.
