Trader consensus at 99.9% "No" reflects the absence of any confirmed or reported departure by former FBI Director James Comey from the United States as the May 15, 2026, deadline approaches, amid his ongoing federal case in North Carolina. Comey self-surrendered on April 29 following a two-count felony indictment over a social media post prosecutors allege constituted a threat against President Trump; a judge released him immediately without bail, travel restrictions, or monitoring, setting a July 15 trial date. No subsequent developments indicate flight risk, aligning with his compliance in prior proceedings and residency ties. Late-breaking travel before midnight ET remains theoretically possible but faces high legal barriers given court jurisdiction.

In cases where Comey may have exited US airspace on a plane, he must be confirmed to have exited the plane in a country other than the US for this market to resolve to "Yes". If James Comey exits United States maritime territory on a boat to international waters, this market may resolve to "Yes".
If it is not confirmed by the resolution date that James Comey left the United States, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting.
