Forecast models from sources including ECMWF and GFS consensus point to a peak temperature near 37°C in Jeddah on September 13, driven by typical late-summer Red Sea coastal conditions with mostly sunny skies, light westerly winds, and minimal cloud cover or precipitation. This aligns with September climatology, where daily highs average 37–38°C amid high humidity that elevates heat index values above 45°C. Recent observations from early September show similar maxima of 37–38°C under stable high-pressure patterns, with no incoming tropical systems or significant cooling expected. Market-implied odds favor 37°C at 41.5% as the leading outcome, reflecting trader assessment of narrow forecast spreads around this threshold, though 38°C remains plausible if afternoon heating exceeds model guidance. Official readings tomorrow will resolve the market based on the daily maximum.
