**Forecast divergence between official guidance and private models is the main driver of trader positioning around 19–20°C lows for Toronto on September 9.** Environment Canada’s latest bulletin calls for showers during the day (high 24°C) followed by a 60% chance of overnight showers and a low of 15°C, consistent with cooler air advection behind a passing system. In contrast, several GFS-based and international services project overnight minima near 19–20°C (67–68°F) amid persistent cloud cover and lighter winds that limit radiational cooling. Historical September 9 averages near 15°C provide context, yet current model spread—particularly on timing and intensity of showers—keeps probabilities clustered between 19°C (36%) and 20°C (30%), with 24°C+ at 27.5% reflecting residual uncertainty ahead of updated model runs and the next Environment Canada issuance.
