**Aaron Ford holds a 63.5% implied probability of carrying Washoe County in the November 3, 2026, Nevada gubernatorial election, ahead of incumbent Joe Lombardo at 33.5%.** The race features the Democratic attorney general against the Republican governor, following June primaries where Ford defeated Washoe County Commissioner Alexis Hill statewide while Lombardo secured his nomination overwhelmingly. Washoe’s voting patterns, recent Democratic primary results showing Ford’s strength even in Hill’s home county, and the broader competitive dynamics in this northern Nevada swing area underpin trader positioning. Statewide polls show a close contest with Lombardo holding a modest edge, yet county-specific factors including turnout among suburban and working-class voters could determine the Washoe outcome. No major late-breaking developments have altered the consensus in recent weeks.
