Juanma Moreno, the incumbent president and People's Party candidate, holds a dominant position ahead of the May 17, 2026, Andalusian regional election, supported by polling averages projecting 40–45 percent support and 52–57 seats in the 109-seat parliament. This places the PP near or at an absolute majority, allowing Moreno to govern without coalitions, consistent with his 2022 result. María Jesús Montero of the Socialist Workers' Party trails significantly, with Vox and smaller left-wing groups showing limited gains. The market's strong consensus reflects these trends and Moreno's established regional approval on economic and governance issues. Late shifts in turnout or unforeseen events could still affect the final seat count, though current evidence points to limited scope for major changes.
