Recent polling for the September 20, 2026, Berlin Abgeordnetenhaus election shows Die Linke leading at 19–22 percent, narrowly ahead of the CDU, AfD, and Greens in a fragmented field, with vote shares clustered tightly enough to produce similar seat totals near the 130-seat minimum plus overhang. This positioning, driven by gains for Linke under top candidate Elif Eralp and modest CDU recovery with Stephan Evers, keeps projected seat ranges for Linke overlapping across the 25–39 band. Late-campaign shifts in turnout among younger or left-leaning voters, final-week polling movements, or coalition signaling among SPD, Greens, and Linke could widen or narrow those ranges before election night.
