Recent polling averages for Israel's October 27, 2026, Knesset election place Shas, the Sephardic ultra-Orthodox party led by Aryeh Deri, at roughly eight seats. This reflects consistent results across multiple surveys from mid-September, with individual figures ranging from seven to ten. Shas has faced pressure from voter concerns over Haredi draft exemptions and competition from other right-wing lists, prompting campaign efforts to highlight military service and appeal to traditional supporters. The party finalized its slate in early September, incorporating a reservist officer in a realistic position. Trader consensus on 8-9 seats aligns with these aggregates, while wider ranges account for typical polling variance and late-campaign shifts in turnout or alliances.
