Both teams enter the June 18 Group A clash in Guadalajara off opening wins, setting up a high-stakes contest where commentary will focus on star attackers like Son Heung-min and Mexico’s forward line amid strong fan camaraderie dubbed “Coreano Hermano.” Trader sentiment around announcer phrases hinges on likely in-game events such as goals, set pieces, or player-specific moments that trigger common calls, with markets reflecting historical broadcast patterns for international matches. The 9 p.m. ET kickoff on FOX and Telemundo positions the game as a prime platform for memorable lines, though outcomes remain fluid based on on-field action and any late tactical adjustments.

This market will resolve based on the events of the official match broadcast, beginning from the opening kickoff and ending at the final whistle, including any extra time or penalty shootout, if applicable. Pre-match and post-match commentary will not be considered.
For the purpose of this market, the "FOX broadcasting team" refers to the officially assigned play-by-play announcer, match analyst, sideline reporter, and rules analyst assigned to this match by FOX Sports. Remarks made by other analysts, guest commentators, players, coaches, or any other individuals not part of the officially assigned broadcast team will not count toward resolution.
Prerecorded clips, AI-generated audio or video, and commercials will not count toward this market's resolution.
Any usage of the term, regardless of context, will count toward the resolution of this market.
Plural and possessive forms of the listed term will count toward the resolution of this market regardless of context; however, other forms will NOT count.
Instances where the term is used in a compound word will count regardless of context (e.g. joyful is not a compound word for "joy," however "killjoy" is a compounding of the words "kill" and "joy").
If this market requires a specified number of mentions of a person's first or last name, a full-name mention will count as one mention (e.g., if a market is about "Joe / Biden 5+ times," a mention of "Joe Biden" will count once).
Muted, censored, or otherwise inaudible instances of a term will not qualify towards resolution.
If the Mexico vs South Korea match is definitively cancelled, postponed, or otherwise does not air by June 19, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, "-No Qualifying Event-" will resolve to "Yes" and all other brackets will resolve to "No". If this match is interrupted, abbreviated, or only partially aired, this market will resolve according to what has occurred up to that point.
The resolution source for this market is the official English broadcast of the Mexico vs South Korea FIFA World Cup 2026 match on FOX. Only remarks made live during the official broadcast will count toward this market's resolution. Transcripts will not count.
