Several attacking midfielders and wingers enter the expanded 48-team World Cup with exceptional recent club form that underpins the tight trader consensus. Michael Olise arrives off a prolific Bayern Munich campaign featuring 29-plus assists across competitions, positioning him as France’s creative outlet alongside Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé. Bruno Fernandes similarly stands out as Portugal’s primary chance creator after another high-volume season supplying goals and assists. Lamine Yamal’s rapid development at Barcelona and Spain’s favored status keep him close behind, while Raphinha, Florian Wirtz, and Bukayo Saka benefit from strong club trajectories and national-team attacking setups. With group-stage matches just beginning and no player yet establishing a clear edge through tournament minutes, the bunched probabilities reflect comparable pathways for multiple creators to accumulate assists across potentially deep runs.
