Florida's 25th congressional district, redrawn in 2026 to encompass coastal areas of Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade counties, carries a D+5 partisan voting index that structurally advantages Democrats in the November general election. Incumbent Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz's established name recognition and primary positioning reinforce this edge, while Republican primary contenders including Michael Carbonara and Claudia Villatoro have drawn attention for fundraising but face the district's underlying Democratic tilt. Trader consensus reflects these fundamentals, with upcoming August primaries and fall campaign dynamics serving as potential catalysts for any shifts ahead of the general election.
