In the lead-up to the June 2027 San Luis Potosí gubernatorial election, trader consensus reflects a fragmented field with no clear frontrunner, as multiple candidates from Morena, PVEM, PAN, and PRI post similar implied probabilities amid early polling that shows Morena near 31% and PVEM around 24%. The incumbent PVEM governor's term limits open the contest, while recent announcements that the Green Party will compete independently rather than in coalition with Morena have reinforced uncertainty and prevented any single contender from consolidating support. Internal party surveys and preference tracking among names such as Marvely Costanzo Rangel, Rosa Icela Rodríguez Velázquez, Carlos Arreola Mallol, and Ricardo Gallardo Juárez continue to shift modestly without decisive separation, underscoring how coalition decisions, primary outcomes, and regional voter blocs will determine which aspirants gain traction ahead of the vote.
