Recent National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts indicate mostly sunny skies and light winds supporting a daily maximum near 93°F for Atlanta on September 10, above the 1991–2020 average high of 85°F. This positioning favors the 90–93°F range as the dominant market-implied outcomes, with afternoon heating potentially tempered by a low 10–20% chance of isolated thunderstorms that could limit peak readings. Recent observations from September 8–9, showing highs of 88–91°F under similar high-pressure influence, reinforce the current trajectory, while the absence of significant frontal systems or moisture influx keeps the probability of exceeding 94°F low. Updated NWS guidance and local model runs through the evening of September 9 will provide the final inputs before market resolution.
