**Trader sentiment for Mexico City's highest temperature on September 20 centers on forecasts showing a maximum near 26°C, reflecting the dominant influence of the city's high elevation (~2,240 m) and persistent cloud cover with light rain or drizzle.** Official Mexican meteorological guidance and multiple models indicate highs of 23–27°C under northerly flow, with afternoon convection and 40–50% precipitation chances capping daytime heating below seasonal peaks. Historical September averages hover around 23–24°C, but recent observations of overcast skies and elevated humidity have supported slightly warmer outcomes in the 25–27°C range. Market-implied odds align with this consensus, as traders weigh model agreement on modest warming against uncertainty from variable cloud breaks or stronger showers that could suppress the peak. Updated forecasts and real-time station readings near midday will likely refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.
