This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Miami Intl Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 25 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kmia This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Latest National Weather Service guidance and ensemble model runs point to Miami highs of 90–93°F on August 25, with afternoon sea-breeze convergence and scattered thunderstorms likely capping peaks through increased cloud cover and evaporative cooling. The near-even split between the 92–93°F (50.5%) and 90–91°F (41.5%) bins reflects modest spread in forecast solutions for storm timing and boundary-layer moisture; earlier or stronger convection favors the lower range, while delayed or weaker activity allows brief additional warming. Typical late-August climatology supports this narrow band, with historical daily maxima averaging near 90°F and record warmth (100°F) requiring clear, suppressed convection that current patterns do not favor. Updated model runs and NWS briefings tonight will refine the outcome before markets close.
