Forecasts from the National Weather Service and major models indicate an overnight low near 76–78°F for Austin on September 2, with partly cloudy skies, light southerly winds, and dew points in the low 70s limiting radiative cooling. This setup follows a persistent warm, humid pattern with daytime highs near 100°F and no cold front or stronger northerly flow expected in the next 48 hours. The 76–77°F bin leads at 54% implied probability because it aligns closely with current guidance and climatology showing average September lows near 71°F. Nearby bins around 69°F or below (48.5%) reflect residual uncertainty from possible increased cloud cover or timing shifts in any weak disturbance, while warmer outcomes capture model spread in minimum temperatures. Updated NWS briefings and model runs through September 1 will refine these thresholds ahead of market resolution.
