Current forecast models from sources like the South African Weather Service and international ensembles indicate a northwest wind regime with persistent cloud cover and scattered showers on September 15, supporting a most likely minimum near 11–13 °C overnight. These conditions arise from a passing frontal system that limits radiational cooling while advecting milder maritime air, consistent with September’s transitional climatology where average minima hover around 10 °C. Trader sentiment remains split because model spread on exact wind strength and timing of heaviest rain creates uncertainty in the overnight low, with some runs permitting brief clear spells that could dip toward 9 °C or below and others keeping readings above 14 °C. Updated high-resolution guidance and local station observations expected later today will likely tighten the range ahead of market resolution.
