Recent price stability for the prominent Bulbasaur promo cards, including the 2026 Pokémon Day variant trading near $15–20 raw and the Mega Evolution Black Star Promo hovering around $28–29, underpins the near-even trader split favoring a slight dip by month’s end. Broader TCG market data shows modest 30-day gains across many sets amid steady collector demand, yet seasonal summer slowdowns and competition from newer releases have tempered upward momentum for older promos like these. With no major conventions or fresh reprint announcements on the immediate horizon, sentiment hinges on weekly TCGPlayer and eBay sales velocity plus any late-August social media buzz that could spark short-term buying. A decisive chart update or viral collector video before August 31 would likely shift the implied odds.
