This market will resolve according to the team that wins the Western Conference during the 2025-26 NHL Playoffs. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the Western Conference (e.g., elimination from the playoffs), the relevant market will resolve immediately to “No.” If the 2025-26 NHL season is permanently canceled or the playoffs have not been completed by August 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other.”Trader consensus on Polymarket heavily favors the Colorado Avalanche at 70.5% implied probability to win the Western Conference, with the Vegas Golden Knights at 29.5%, reflecting the matchup in the Stanley Cup Playoffs Conference Final series starting May 20 in Denver with home-ice advantage to Colorado. The Avalanche secured their spot yesterday with a dramatic overtime victory over the Minnesota Wild in Game 5 of the second round, rebounding from an early deficit via a goaltender change that ignited their offense led by playoff standouts like Nathan MacKinnon. Vegas advanced hours earlier, closing out Anaheim Ducks in Game 6 after Pavel Dorofeyev's overtime heroics in Game 5, leveraging their Pacific Division crown and 2023 Stanley Cup pedigree despite a tougher road. Colorado's superior 55-16-11 regular-season record and rest edge underpin the pricing, though Vegas's playoff resilience tempers the gap.
