Recent episode averages for Fox News’ The Five have clustered between 3.2 million and 3.7 million total viewers amid its status as cable news’ top-rated program, positioning the 3.5–3.75 million bracket as the market favorite. Trader consensus reflects the show’s consistent performance during routine political coverage in a slower late-August news cycle, with Fox maintaining dominance despite year-over-year declines across total viewers and the key 25-54 demographic. The 3.184 million figure from the prior week underscores the baseline, while quieter developments limit upside potential for higher brackets. Nielsen’s Linear TV Top 10 Cable Chart, expected shortly after the period closes, will resolve the market based on the single highest-viewed episode.
