**Early-stage proceedings and limited evidence of prosecutorial momentum underpin the 78% market-implied probability that Chud the Builder (Dalton Eatherly) will not be convicted of attempted murder.** The controversial livestreamer faces charges stemming from a May 13, 2026, shooting outside a Clarksville, Tennessee courthouse during a civil hearing, with both parties reportedly wounded. Recent developments center on bond matters— including a June 17 revocation in related Nashville cases—rather than substantive trial progress, preliminary hearings, or new witness disclosures that might strengthen the state's case. As a high-profile streamer known for provocative IRL content, Eatherly's situation invites self-defense arguments or plea considerations common in such incidents, while the absence of imminent court dates or guild-like precursor signals (e.g., strong charging updates) leaves substantial room for acquittal, dismissal, or reduced charges. Traders appear to weigh these unresolved dynamics against historical patterns where ambiguous self-defense claims in public altercations often result in no conviction.
