**Forecast models and official guidance from the National Weather Service point to a high near 82°F in Denver today under mostly sunny skies with light northeast winds, placing the 82–83°F bin at the center of trader positioning.** September 9 climatology shows an average high of 81.5°F at Denver International Airport, and recent days have featured above-normal readings in the upper 80s to low 90s amid a warmer-than-average early September pattern. Today's slightly cooler profile stems from clearer but drier air and modest northeasterly flow rather than strong frontal passage or widespread cloud cover. With minimal precipitation risk and stable high pressure, probabilities cluster tightly around the seasonal normal plus minor daily variability, while the small tails for 84–85°F or lower reflect residual model spread and the inherent uncertainty in afternoon maximum readings.
