Forecast models from sources including ECMWF and regional ensembles indicate a high near 29–31°C for Milan on September 2, driven by persistent high pressure and weak southerly flow under partly cloudy skies with limited daytime heating. Recent model runs show minimal day-to-day shifts, keeping the distribution centered on 30°C as the modal outcome while allowing for small adjustments from afternoon cloud cover or localized mixing. Historical early-September averages near 28–29°C provide context, yet current synoptic patterns support slightly warmer conditions without extreme heat advection. Traders weight these consensus forecasts heavily, with resolution depending on official Italian meteorological service maximum readings. Updated model guidance ahead of the date remains the key near-term variable.
