Recent forecasts from GFS and other models indicate Moscow will reach a high of 20–21°C on September 21 under southerly flow, variable cloud cover, and light winds, with limited afternoon heating due to increasing cloudiness and possible showers by evening. This places the expected maximum near or slightly above the late-September climatological average of roughly 16–18°C. Market-implied odds favoring 19–21°C reflect consensus across model runs showing modest diurnal warming without strong ridging or clear skies that could push readings higher. Updated guidance through September 20 has remained stable, with no major shifts in steering patterns or thermal advection that would alter the 20°C peak favored by traders.
