Recent official forecasts from Environment Canada and supporting models indicate a high near 19–20°C for Toronto on September 20, 2026, under mostly cloudy skies with a 30% chance of showers and northeasterly winds. These conditions limit surface heating compared to clearer setups, aligning with the market’s concentration on 19°C, 20°C, and 21°C outcomes. The date’s climatological average high of 21°C provides context, yet the advancing seasonal transition—marked by cooler air advection after recent milder days—introduces modest downside risk. Updated model runs and any overnight clearing will be key variables traders monitor before resolution.
