Persistent hot and humid conditions driven by southerly flow and high pressure are keeping overnight lows elevated, with National Weather Service forecasts pointing to minimum temperatures in the upper 70s for Austin on September 13. Recent model consensus shows limited radiational cooling under partly cloudy skies and dew points near 70°F, which supports the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 76-77°F, 88°F or higher, and 69°F or below. Historical September averages near 69°F highlight how anomalous the current pattern remains, while small forecast adjustments in wind speed or cloud cover could shift the exact low. Updated NWS guidance and new model runs expected overnight will provide the next key data points for traders.
