Trader consensus on the 84-85°F outcome for Atlanta’s September 12 high reflects official observations aligning precisely with that range, consistent with National Weather Service forecasts of a high near 85°F under partly sunny skies with morning thunderstorms and light southwest winds. Cloud cover and rainfall suppressed daytime heating, keeping the peak close to the 1991–2020 climatological average of 84.5°F rather than allowing stronger insolation to push values higher. With the date now passed, market-implied odds capture verified station data from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, where minor variations in microclimate or measurement timing represent the only realistic paths to adjacent bins.
