**Forecast consensus from the Met Office and other models points to an overnight low near 18°C in London on September 13, 2026, as the dominant factor supporting the market's 76% implied probability for that outcome.** Mild southwesterly flow, high humidity above 85%, and persistent cloud cover with light rain or drizzle have limited radiational cooling, keeping minimum temperatures elevated above seasonal norms. Official guidance lists a minimum of 16°C under partly cloudy skies, yet ensemble runs cluster around 17–18°C, with limited downside risk from clearer spells. Traders appear to weigh these stable conditions heavily against historical September lows, with only modest probability assigned to 17°C or cooler readings pending final observational confirmation.
