Recent National Weather Service and local model guidance indicate Denver highs on September 9 will likely reach the low-to-mid 80s under partly to mostly sunny skies with isolated afternoon thunderstorms possible. Persistent high pressure and southerly flow have supported above-average temperatures through early September, with recent daily maxima in the upper 80s to low 90s, while a modest cooling trend and increasing cloud cover on the 9th cap the upside. Historical climatology places the September 9 average high at 81.5 °F, and current ensemble spreads cluster most outcomes between 80–85 °F, aligning with the market’s heaviest trading in the 82–83 °F bin. Updated short-range forecasts tomorrow morning will provide the final data for resolution.
