Latest forecast consensus from models including those referenced by the Met Office and European meteorological services indicates a peak temperature of 33–35°C in Milan on September 5 under a stable high-pressure ridge delivering clear skies and light winds. This exceeds the long-term September average high of roughly 22°C and aligns with an ongoing late-summer heat episode across northern Italy. With the target date only two days away, model spread remains narrow, limiting upside or downside surprises unless an unexpected frontal passage develops. Traders appear to price elevated outcomes accordingly, reflecting the strong observational and dynamical support for continued warmth through the weekend.
