Wang Chung-ming, the Kuomintang incumbent, holds the leading position in this Lienchiang County magistrate race ahead of the November 28, 2026, local elections. KMT nomination in June and candidate registration in early September confirmed his matchup against independent challenger Tsao Erh-yuan, a rematch of the 2022 contest where Wang prevailed. No Democratic Progressive Party candidate registered, limiting opposition in this traditionally KMT-leaning offshore county. Trader consensus reflected in current pricing aligns with the incumbent's party backing, prior electoral margin, and absence of competitive alternatives, though late developments such as turnout shifts or unexpected endorsements could still influence the outcome before election day.
