Recent forecast model consensus from sources including ECMWF and GFS indicates a minimum temperature near 12–14°C in Ankara overnight into September 19, driven by clear skies, light northeast winds, and moderate radiative cooling under stable high pressure typical of early autumn in Turkey’s continental interior. This setup favors steady heat loss from the surface after sunset, with dew points near 11–13°C limiting further drops, while historical September averages for the city hover around 14°C lows. Minor model spread arises from subtle differences in cloud cover timing and boundary-layer mixing, keeping trader-implied probabilities tightly clustered among 11–14°C outcomes ahead of official station readings from the Turkish State Meteorological Service.
