Forecast models for Miami indicate considerable uncertainty in the September 5 minimum temperature, with current guidance centered near 80–82°F but spread across multiple bins due to variable steering patterns and moisture. Key differentiators include the strength of the sea breeze circulation, which moderates overnight lows through onshore flow, versus any increase in cloud cover or tropical moisture that could suppress radiational cooling. An approaching disturbance or shift in the subtropical ridge could alter boundary-layer mixing and dew points, while clearer, drier air under high pressure would favor the lower ranges near 73–75°F. Updated National Weather Service and ensemble runs expected over the next 48 hours will refine these variables ahead of market resolution.
