Current short-range forecasts from sources including the Finnish Meteorological Institute, Yr.no, and PredictWind indicate a highest temperature in Helsinki on September 13 most likely near 16°C, consistent with the market-implied probabilities favoring 16°C (42.5%) followed by 17°C and 15°C. Mid-September climatology shows an average daily high of 15.9°C, with typical ranges of 10–18°C; ongoing mild southwesterly flow, increasing cloud cover, and light precipitation chances (30–40%) are suppressing stronger warming while limiting overnight radiative cooling. Model consensus across GFS and local guidance points to afternoon peaks of 15–17°C under mostly cloudy skies, with limited model spread supporting trader emphasis on the narrow central band. Updated runs expected within 24 hours could refine the exact peak if steering patterns or moisture shift.
