Recent observational data and forecast model consensus from Mexican meteorological agencies positioned 14°C as the leading outcome for Mexico City’s September 8 minimum, with traders assigning it 54.5% implied probability amid stable high-pressure conditions and light winds that limited nocturnal cooling at the city’s 2,240-meter elevation. Historical September baselines average 12–15°C, and current runs showed minimal deviation from climatology, though slight model spread around urban heat-island effects kept 15°C and 12°C close behind at 44.1% and 39.5%. Official station measurements, typically taken at standardized sites, will resolve the market, with any late revisions in post-event verification the main remaining uncertainty.
