Recent forecast updates from European and global models indicate a shift to cooler, clearer conditions over Milan following midweek thunderstorms, driving the near-even market-implied odds between a minimum of 12°C or below (45.0%) and 22°C or higher (44.5%). Nocturnal radiative cooling under reduced cloud cover and light northerly winds supports trader focus on lows near 16–18°C, consistent with GFS and ECMWF guidance showing 16–17°C overnight into September 11. Model spread arises from variable timing of high pressure building and residual moisture, creating genuine uncertainty around exact minimum thresholds. Historical September baselines place typical overnight lows near 14–16°C, underscoring how small shifts in steering patterns or dew points could tip resolution. Updated model runs and official Italian meteorological briefings expected within 48 hours remain key catalysts for position adjustments.
